What Is Human Trafficking?
Human Trafficking is Slavery. Slavery is when a person is owned or controlled by someone who is exploiting him or her. Whether it’s men forced to work, children in sweatshops, children being sold or traded, women in prostitution or girls forced to marry older men. They no longer have a choice. They no longer have freedom.
For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.
