We are devastated as we watch the current state of Ukraine unfold.
Ukraine's military forces have faced attacks by land, air and sea. Just last week Russia launched a 'full-scale invasion' of Ukraine with explosions heard across major cities. As of Sunday, 352 civilians had been killed and 1,684 people, including 116 children, had been injured. Over half a million civilians have fled Ukraine, and it's been estimated that up to 40 million people will attempt to flee the country because of the invasion.
Our long-term partners A21 have been working in Ukraine to put an end to human trafficking by reaching vulnerable populations with prevention messages, identifying and assisting hundreds of victims and supporting survivors through the restoration process.
We are partnering with them to provide emergency relief by donating $10,000, and we're calling out to our community to help us double this figure. Can you help?
For the next 4 weeks all donations will go towards supporting our partners on the ground in Ukraine. These funds will provide Ukrainian trafficking survivors with needed emergency supplies, safety guidance, relocation assistance and financial support during this uncertain time. To raise further funds, 100% of profits from our Empathy Tee will be going directly to this appeal.
